We have been busy in Foundation Stage improving our Outdoor Provision. We have created a new ‘Outdoor Maths’ area where children can use the giant balance scales to weigh different natural objects such as pebbles, pine cones, logs and sticks. It’s been quite tricky to get them to balance but the children are enjoying trying! We also have an exciting new ‘Mud Kitchen’ and the children have been busy making mud pies, cakes, soups and cookies. They are even learning to wash up their pots and leave it tidy and ready for the next group!
