The Stickman
We have enjoyed exploring this story. We looked carefully at each picture and discovered characters from Julia's other stories...Can you spot them too?
We discussed the words that let us know how the Stickman is feeling in comparison to the people and animals that found him.
A dazzling delight from the creators of , which explores what its like to be misunderstood. Stick Man looks like any old stick. No one realises he has feelings. And when one morning he goes for a jog and forgets to watch out for an excited dog, poor Stick Man becomes the stick that the dog wants to use for his favourite trick!
We having been comparing the Gruffalo story to the story of the Gruffalo's Child.
We noticed that some characters were the same...even the big bad mouse (it was only his shadow).
