I have attached a sheet with some ideas for how you can continue to support your child at home. It is a very confusing and uncertain time for the children at the moment and their mental health is paramount, so please do not feel like you must complete everything I have suggested. However, I know many of you are keen to keep a routine and so I will keep the website updated. I have tried to find examples of words that you can use to help teach the children phonics at home - and given examples on how to pronounce them. I have also given examples of games that the children will be able to play independently as I am aware that many of you are working from home.
The White Rose Maths home learning website is an excellent resource with a presentation and accompanying work. If you would like to tweet me your child's work, I would love to see it!
Please also look on the home learning tab as there are some excellent ideas on there too.
Remember to continue to read with your child every day. It is important that they listen to stories as well as read them to you. Ask them questions about what they have read/listened to.
